Mommy Daughter Bonding at Princess Cruises Afternoon Tea

One of my favorite things to do is have an afternoon tea with my daughter. I love scones and she loves tea cups. I believed our first real afternoon tea together(besides the ones at home) was when we were aboard Princess Cruises. That was followed by a Hello Kitty Afternoon Tea at Chado Tea Room in Downtown LA and an American Girl Afternoon Tea at the Grove. Hopefully our next one will be in London? Wishful thinking(I know).

We would have to wait for her lil' sis' to grow some more before we hit London. So the three of us can enjoy afternoon tea in London. Okay.. four.. hubby included. LOL.

The afternoon tea food aboard Princess Cruises was not served on tiered platters. Rather they are served table side and is unlimited, not that we can eat a lot. The tea sandwiches, cookies and desserts were plenty. So much to choose from really. And their scones were divine. Mmmm.. really missed cruising now.

My daughter didn't have tea, she asked for juice. She was very happy during tea time because we got some alone time together while the baby and daddy napped away. This was her second of three cruises she's been on. And we look forward to our next one. If you've never cruise before, here are 20 Reasons Why We Love Cruising

Are you officialy hungry? Besides the tea sandwiches and scones. Their tea were pretty good as well. Jams and creams for your scones were served table side as well. I can eat a lot of that cream, yum. No.. I didn't spoon the cream. Haha. Just a little.

If you're cruising with Princess Cruises anytime soon, don't miss out on their afternoon tea service. I know it's hard to eat at that hour coz' you just devoured the buffet spread hours prior. So plan ahead and don't go heavy on lunch. Also read about our post comparing Carnival Cruise and Princess Cruises, so you can figure which cruise line fits your personality.

Read up on our other Afternoon Tea Experience, another favorite is our Hello Kitty Afternoon Tea at Chado Tea Room and the American Girl Afternoon Tea.
