Kidspace Discount $6.50 + Kidspace Children's Museum Review

Avail of Kidspace Museum Discount Ticket $6.50 VS. 13. Kidspace Children's Museum is a big hit to our kids. Whether you have a budding scientist or just looking for fun things to do with the kids this Spring Break, during the summer or over the weekend, I highly recommend visiting Kidspace Museum in Pasadena.

It was our very first visit to Kidspace Children's Museum and 4 hours were not enough. There was simply so much to do and the kids just wouldn't leave. There are activities you can do that involves physics, indoor climbing, pretend play, water play, riding tricycles and a whole lot more. Check out all our Kidspace Museum pictures and tips to plan your future visit to the museum. You may also join our giveaway to win a Family Pass to Kidspace. Good luck!

Kidspace Children's Museum Admission Price is only $11 for adults and for the kids, and it's free for infants. Parking is free and you can even bring lunch and snacks. Such a bargain. They have a concession stand though where they sell salads, sandwiches, ice creams, chips, etc. so you don't have to worry about lugging so much so you can just play with the kids.

In spite of the low price, Kidspace Museum is well kept. Really clean and there's staff everywhere to assist you and even tell you about activities that are coming up.

I wish we also have Kidspace Children's Museum in the South Bay but I really wouldn't mind the drive. Exiting Pasadena on the 110 takes you to a scenic route with all the beautiful homes in Pasadena before reaching Kidspace Museum, you'd even see the beautiful Colorado Street Bridge on the way.

I avoided the traffic by getting there at 11AM. There was no big groups as well when we went. But next time, I'm gonna get there right when they open so the kids can do more, especially since they will be re-opening the garden section where I heard they are currently building something fun.

One of the kids' favorite activities when we went were playing as Paleontologist and digging this huge fossil from the sand. They also stayed the longest riding tricycles and it's interesting to see them follow a path. Even our toddler who is not into following directions actually complied.

I suggest bringing a sunblock, swimsuit, change of clothes, water shoes and a towel so the kids can play in the water. I obviously forgot but the kids were still able to enjoy themselves while watching other kids as they finish their push pop ice cream we got from the concession stand.

There were so many activities outdoors that kids can learn from, including myself. Like if we'd ever need a science project for school I was thinking of making something like the Air Cannon below. I'm not gonna tell you how it works, you'd have to visit Kidspace Children's Museum to experience each.

The kids also went up the glass climbing tower. I wasn't able to tell them that it might be scary coz' they went up really fast. When they were climbing down, I saw the fear in their faces. But I saw how they stayed calm in spite being nervous and did their best to climb down because they know I wasn't there to help them. When lil' sis' got down, she exclaimed, "I did it!" Proud moment for both of us.

The kids also loved playing pretend at Bugsy's Diner. They were serving bugs to the huge bugs, and even to mommy. LOL! Kidspace Children's Museum has both an indoor and outdoor section. I'd suggest timing your visit. Do the outdoor section before it gets hot, then stay indoors by noon. The eating area outside has umbrellas or the kids can also cool off in the splash pad while parents eat or watch them on the side.

There's also a greenhouse, an imagination workshop and a whole lot more.

If you have really young kids, there's a room for the young ones where there are music activities, etc.

There's also a learning store where you can purchase books, toys and even adopt caterpillars.

Kidspace Children's Museum is located at 480 North Arroyo Blvd.Pasadena, CA 91103. Check more info on their website. If you've never been, trust me, the kids are really going to have fun and learn a lot. There was even a bird you can touch but the kids hesitated, maybe on other trip.

  13. Kid space is amazing - love bringing young toddlers up to the creek at the top in the summer. Rubbery Ducky races are especially popular.
