Taro Smoothie Recipe: How to Make Homemade Taro Smoothie

Taro Smoothie Recipe! It's so easy to make and with only a few ingredients, you'll never go back to a boba place again. Some calls it taro bubble tea, taro slush, or taro boba while my kids call it a purple juice. I know it's already Fall, but this is good anytime of the year.

When the summer started, we'd be at our nearby Vietnamese restaurant to buy Taro Smoothie at 4 bucks each. That's a lot of money even on one trip alone, imagine us being there almost weekly. So I finally bought taro powder from Amazon and made them at home and it tasted exactly the same as the $4 one. If you want boba with it, that's not a problem as well. All can be made at home. Check out how to make homemade taro smoothie below.

TARO SMOOTHIE RECIPE:

Taro Smoothie Ingredients: Yields 1 Tall Cup

2 Cups Ice
1 Cup Whole Milk
3 tbsp. Taro Powder
1 tbsp. Condensed Milk
Taro Boba (Optional)

How to Make Taro Smoothie:

If you want your taro smoothie recipe with boba, cook the boba per package instructions then put on the bottom of your cup. Don't forget to buy your fat straw if you're using boba.

To create the taro smoothie - Put Ice, Milk, Taro Powder and Condensed Milk in a Blender. Blend until smooth, about 20-30 seconds. Pour onto a tall glass or a tall plastic clear cup.

I use an Oster Blender and so far it's still working even if I use thick ice to make this taro smoothie recipe.
