{New Giveaway} Rubio's $40 Meal Vouchers: Yummy Langostino Lobster Taco | #Rubios #Giveaway

I don't know if I can get my head off the Langostino Lobster Taco I had for lunch today. It was just soooo good, like why have I never tried it before? They have it at Rubio's for a limited time and I really want you guys to try it out. I'm giving away 4 Rubio's vouchers to one lucky reader (total value $40) to try all the deliciousness they offer. Join the Rubio's giveaway below and good luck!

I've been meaning to go to Rubio's for 2-3 weeks now. Except we always think, what will the kids eat there, they are not into Mexican food (unfortunately)? But today I really wanted to have some chicken tortilla soup and since big sis' is in school and the lil' one has eaten her lunch already. I figured, it's ok to go to Rubio's.

Well good thing I finally went, the langostino lobster is only available til' January. I ordered it as a Surf n' Turf, but it's also available as a burrito and enchilada.

  • Rubio's Langostino Lobster Burrito - Langostino drizzled in basil butter sauce, wrapped in a warm flour tortilla. Handmade guacamole, citrus rice, black beans and a creamy chipotle sauce are included.
  • Rubio's Surf & Turf Two Taco Plate - A Langostino Lobster taco topped with slices of fresh avocado, cabbage, cilantro and onion, and paired with a Grilled Gourmet Taco™ with Steak.
  • Rubio's Langostino Lobster Enchilada - Two enchiladas with buttery Langostino Lobster, a melted three cheese blend and topped with verde sauce, avocado slices, salsa fresca and a creamy chipotle sauce.

I also ordered the chicken tortilla soup which is the initial reason I went to Rubio's. It had grilled chicken, citrus rice and chicken broth and is topped with shredded cheese, salsa fresca, fresh avocado slices and tortilla strips. It was good but I think they can still improve on it.

I was surprised to see that they have chicken bites on the kids menu though, so now we can go eat there with the kids. I honestly thought I've been to Rubio's, but after eating what I had today plus the nice interior of the Rubio's location I went too, it's like being in a new restaurant for the first time.

I ordered 3 items and the bill was around $20, such a good deal considering I ordered a taco with lobster. The ingredients were all really fresh as well even if it's a fast casual restaurant. Glad we have one nearby. Check here for a Rubio's location near you. I'm eating there again this Saturday to have the hubby try it out, this time I'll try their Langostino Lobster Enchilada and the Chipotle Orange Salad with Shrimp. Can't wait, yum, yum, yum!!!!
