Recap: Club MomMe's Fall Family Fest at South Coast Botanic Garden

Yesterday, my daughter and I attended Club MomMe's Fall Family Fest at South Coast Botanic Garden for the very first time. Though Club MomMe holds a lot of events for parents including at least two family festival a year, this is the very first time we've attended anything set up by them. And I have to say, kudos to them for making it very organized and equally fun for both the parents and the kids. And the gift bag is very generous as well.

We arrived early at the Fall Family Fest, got our wristband and was immediately handed a huge and heavy gift bag. I'm thinking, whoa.. what's in here? We're already gonna have fun at the event and we're also gonna go home and have more fun opening the gift bag? I love that!!

I dropped off my kid to Urbansitter and begged them to watched her so I can attend the media morning. They were kind enough to watched her even if I forgot to prebooked it. Thanks Urbansitter, I'm gonna booked in advance next time around if you guys are at an event that I'm checking out.

Oh but before we actually found UrbanSitter, we ended up with Elsa, Ariel, Superman & Spiderman. A quick photo opp with them was necessary but they were also offering playdates where kids got to color with Elsa & Ariel. Pretty neat. My daughter was in heaven. Two of her favorite Disney princess in one place. Thanks Club MomMe.

After the media morning that included some lite bites from Mendocino Farms and coffee from Coffee Bean. I went back and got my daughter, who by the way, no longer wants to leave UrbanSitter.

Fall Family Fest showcased different products and services geared towards babies and toddlers. But there were also products for moms. It's nice to see new products and new businesses there mixed in with established ones. We went from one tent to another to checked them all out.

After we went to get some pizza from Fresh Brothers; this uber yummy sandwich from Mendocino Farms; and mini cupcakes from Sprinkles. My daughter decided that we picnic under the small umbrella by Little Tikes. With nowhere to put my foot, I succumbed to her request. Please know that there's a ton of regular sized tables and chairs to settle for lunch. But she's the boss.. sometimes.

She then went to enjoy the pump and splash area; raced on Little Tikes cars; cooking sesh; played with lego; and many more. Next thing you know, it was already 2PM. Fall Family Fest has a Pamper lounge set up. You can get your hair and nails done. My daughter went home with pink nails, I got sparkly gold on mine.

I wished I could have also attended the panel talk about "Finding Balance" with Lisa Ling, Tamera Mowry and Garcelle Beauvais in the panel. But we forgot all about it, but they were kind enough to pose for a picture with me before leaving the Club MomMe Fall Family Fest.

My followers were asking when the next Club MomMe Family Fest will be held. I'm curious too. All I know is they have an OC Family Fest and LA Family Fest every year. I'l keep you guys posted when the dates are release.

disclosure: We attended as media guests.
